VCU Medical Center

The Pediatric Dental Practice is housed in the Wood Memorial Building. The 14-chair clinic has nitrous oxide at each unit, three sedation rooms, and a resident seminar room. Each resident has access to a computer, a desk, and filing space.  Faculty offices are located conveniently across the hall from the clinic.

The Tompkins-McCaw Library and the Ambulatory Care Center for the VCU Medical Center are located across the street from the dental school. The Tompkins-McCaw Library is the largest health science library in Virginia and serves as a resource for resident research and patient care information. The majority of the hospital based general anesthesia cases are performed at the Ambulatory Care Center and the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU Outpatient Pavilion.
