Residents

Each of our residents completes a research project as part of the Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.) thesis requirements. The resident is required to select a research project, conduct the necessary literature review, develop a practical protocol and obtain the necessary materials and approvals as necessary. In addition, the resident is required to submit a funding request for support of their project and defend their thesis followed by the submission of the thesis to the VCU Graduate School. The manuscript is then submitted to the journal that the research mentor has chosen.
